Dell might re-enter the digital media players market

Market sources are hinting that Dell is considering entering into the digital media player and store market which is dominated by Apple (Apple iPods and iTunes).

The company could be working on plans to launch its own range of media players along with an accompanying service and software.

Analysts believe that Dell has a stronger chance to become a recognized player in this field considering they are already a dominating force in the PC market.

Incidentally, the company stopped selling their own Dell Digital Jukebox media players sometime away conceding defeat to Apple iPods.

Dell’s primary rival in the PC market, HP used to sell Apple iPods but they also stopped doing that sometime back.
