Google acquires Omnisio possibly to enhance YouTube
Search engine giant Google has announced that they are acquiring four-month-old startup company Omnisio.
They are now likely to use Omnisio technology to add new features like mixing online videos and adding comments to videos on their YouTube video sharing service.
Google said that the founders of the company have tremendous experience with video tools. This expertise can be used to further enhance the capabilities of YouTube.
YouTube further stated: “We’re big fans of anything that lets people interact with online video and gives the YouTube community the chance to express themselves in creative ways. We believe we’ve only scratched the surface in terms of what’s possible with online video, so stay tuned for other tools and features that will let you do even more with your videos.”
