Apple iPhone bills in Japan to go down
Japan’s third largest mobile service provider Softbank has announced that they are now lowering the monthly fees for the Apple iPhone 3G device.
Softbank said in a statement that they are cutting the fees for data transfer on this device.
Users would now be paying fees as low as 2,990 yen a month. This is down from current levels of 7,280 yen a month.
Apple iPhone 3G has been pretty successful in the Japanese market where it went on sale for the first time last month.
Apple is also scheduled to launch the device in more Asian countries in the coming weeks.
