Google Music Onebox launched in China
Music search engines have been targeted again and again in several markets around the world for leading the web users to pirated media files on the web.
Google has launched a new music search engine in China which they claim would only provide links to legally available files on the web.
This search service is backed by some record labels and they would generate revenues through online advertising.
This service is named Google Music Onebox and it is not open to users outside the Chinese market.
Google spoke about this new service launch: “This legal music service will help users avoid dead links, slow downloads, inaccurate search results, and poor quality or incomplete songs.”
