Intel Core i7 processors announced
Microprocessor industry giant Intel has announced that they are soon going to launch their new range of chips for desktop computers under the established “Core” brand.
These new processors would be called Core i7.
These processors are based on their design currently codenamed Nehalem.
Intel expects to start mass production of these processors before the end of the current year.
Sean Maloney, general manager of Intel’s sales and marketing group spoke about these new processors: “Expect Intel to focus even more marketing resources around that name and the Core i7 products starting now.”
