Infineon could be the reason behind iPhone 3G problems
Reports online say that the newly launched iPhone 3G from Apple suffer from problems related to 3G connectivity.
Users around the world are complaining that the speeds are irregular and the phone switches to EDGE connectivity even in areas where 3G coverage is good.
Apple is yet to comment on these reports. However, market sources say that Infineon chip in the iPhone could be the reason behind these problems.
Other reports say that Apple could release a software patch in the next update to resolve these problems.
However, it is still not sure whether the problem is hardware related or software. If this is a hardware problem, iPhone 3G customers are not going to be very happy about it.
