T-Mobile USA could become the first Android mobile phone seller

Market reports say that T-Mobile USA is expected to become the first mobile service provider in the world to offer a mobile device powered by the Google Android mobile platform later this year.

This device is likely to be the HTC model currently codenamed Dream.

This report is contrary to the rumors which say that HTC is facing technical difficulties with Android which could possibly delay the launch of their first mobile handset powered by the Google Android mobile platform.

Google Android would take on several existing mobile platforms including Windows Mobile, Apple iPhone and Symbian.

Market experts believe that HTC would have to get the phone out in the market before the start of the holiday season this year to gain maximum sales in this financial year.
