HTC Dream gets FCC approval

Google Android fans had some more good news today as the US FCC has now given its approval to the HTC Dream mobile phone.

Dream is currently the codename for the first mobile phone which would feature the Android mobile platform.

Google is developing Android in collaboration with the Open Handset Alliance. It is likely to become the new challenger to Windows Mobile, Symbian and Apple iPhone.

T-Mobile is likely to become the first mobile service provider to sell this phone to their customers.

The documentation on the FCC site reveals that it would support 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
