Apple sued for iPhone 3G related problems
An Alabama woman has now filed a lawsuit against Apple for their recently launched iPhone 3G mobile phone.
She claims that the iPhone drops too many calls on her and is slower than what was shown in the advertisements.
The lawsuit is seeking a class-action status. A lot of people have complained about these problems with the iPhone 3G.
Apple is said to be working on a fix. A recently made available firmware update failed to resolve the problem.
The lawsuit specifically points at the Apple slogan for the iPhone 3G: “Twice as fast. Half the price.”
It states: “Immediately after purchase, Plaintiff soon noticed that her internet connection, receipt and sending of e-mail, text messages and other data transfers were slower than expected and advertised.”
