Reports: Vodafone India reduces price of iPhone 3G by Rs. 1500
Latest incoming reports claim that Vodafone in India has already reduced the price of the iPhone 3G models by around Rs. 1500.
Their website is yet to be updated to show this updated price.
The price cut seems to be highly unlikely and ill-timed. With customers already getting their hands on the iPhone here in India, this would mean a rude shock for early bird buyers.
We would update as and when we get more information.
Apple iPhone 3G was launched in India just few hours back. The launch is being covered by all the major news media channels on television.
The official price for the iPhone is Rs. 31000 for 8GB model and Rs. 36100 for 16GB model.
Update: This news is somewhat confirmed now! Vodafone lowers iPhone prices, Airtel sticks to the original
