Palm Treo Pro launched
Smartphone maker Palm has launched their latest model Palm Treo Pro.
This Smartphone comes loaded with the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system.
The company said that the Treo Pro is not designed to compete with the Apple iPhone as it is targeted towards the business customers who need a hardware based QWERTY keyboard.
The main rival for the Treo Pro is the recently launched RIM Blackberry Bold model.
Palm would be initially selling this Smartphone directly to interested customers in the US market.
Europe should be a bigger market for this model as they are expected to offer this phone through mobile operators with heavy subsidies.
The phone has a retail price of $549.
