MegaFon confirms Apple iPhone deal for Russia
Russian mobile service provider MegaFon has confirmed that they have signed on a deal with Apple to launch the Apple iPhone 3G in the country.
There were rumors about possible talks going on between the two companies. The news is now confirmed.
MegaFon is the third largest mobile phone operator in the Russian market where smuggled iPhones are already hugely popular.
The company said in its statement: “The sales of iPhone in Russia will start this year.”
