Tata Motors showcases Indica ev electric car
Tata Motors has announced that they aim to launch an electric version of its Indica hatchback in Norway within a year.
This model would be launched in the domestic market of India at a later stage.
The company showcased their prototype Indica ev model at an industry conference.
Company representative Ravi Kant spoke about this model: “This is one of the technologies that we are looking at; as you know that electric cars are almost zero emission.”
Nissan and Mitsubishi are other car makers who are working on fully electric cars for launch in the coming years.
Reva of India is already successfully selling Electric Vehicles since many years.
General Motors is also working on their Volt model which is expected to be launched in the next couple of years.
