Microsoft launches their USD 300 million marketing campaign
It begins with a stupid advertisement featuring Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld.
You have got to see it to find out how ridiculous it is.
Check it out:
This campaign is being managed by Crispin Porter + Bogusky. The aim is to come out with a response to the relatively humorous Mac vs. PC ads.
Brad Brooks, a corporate vice president at Microsoft spoke about this campaign: “What the brand stands for, particularly in the case of Windows Vista, has been defined by the competitors. The time is now for us to get in and start telling our story.”
Our first impressions? Microsoft is doing it all wrong.
