MTS would sell Apple iPhone 3G in Russia
Russia’s number one mobile service provider MTS has announced that they have signed on a deal with Apple to sell the Apple iPhone 3G device in the market.
They did not however provide any more details on these plans.
Incidentally, the other two major players in the Russian market Vimpelcom and MegaFon too have signed on similar deals with Apple.
Apple iPhone is already pretty popular in Russia where it is available in the grey market at a massive premium.
It remains to be seen of these operators can expand the market for Apple in the coming months.
