Plastic Logic set to launch Amazon Kindle killer!

Plastic Logic is going to showcase its version of an electronic newspaper reader.

Their e-reader device basically consists of a lightweight plastic screen which mimics the looks of a newspaper.

The device basically uses the same technology used by current generation electronic book readers like Amazon Kindle and Sony eReader.

This new device has a screen which is much bigger than the devices currently available in the market.

This alone makes it a worthy rival to the popular offerings from Sony and Amazon.

The company said that the device would update content through a wireless internet connection.

Richard Archuleta, the chief executive of Plastic Logic added: “Even though we have positioned this for business documents, a newspaper is what everyone asks for.”

They aim to start selling it in the market starting next year.
