Amazon.com Video on Demand now officially launched
Online retailing giant Amazon has now officially launched their Amazon.com Video on Demand service.
This service had been in beta testing since last couple of months.
Amazon.com Video on Demand uses Adobe Flash technology to deliver streaming movies and television shows to subscribers.
As a result, the user does not require downloading anything before watching the media content.
The service provides the content without any commercials or advertising.
This new service also now replaces their Unbox service which used Windows Media Digital Rights Management. As a result, the service can now be used by Apple Mac users as well.
