HP EliteBook 6930p can provide 24 hours battery backup
US based personal computer maker Hewlett Packard has announced their new notebook which when ordered with specific upgrades can provide the user with a 24 hour battery backup.
This new model is HP EliteBook 6930p.
HP said that this notebook when combined with the $189 optional 12-cell ultra-capacity battery can boost the battery backup of the notebook by around 10 hours.
They have loaded this machine with an energy efficient, solid-state hard drive.
The notebook also comes equipped with Illumi-Lite LED display which is more energy efficient compared to regular LED displays.
HP recommends using the notebook with Windows XP for optimum battery life. Vista users would suffer a degraded performance.
