The rumors about the new iPod nano were true after all. Even the images representing the new edition were correct.
Apple has launched their fourth generation iPod nano.
It was showcased by the company boss Steve Jobs at a media event.
The new iPod nano is thinner than ever. The new edition is oval-shaped and is around 64mm thick.
It is available in two versions 8GB and 16GB.
The new iPod nano comes loaded with the accelerometer technology which is already present in the iPod Touch.
This technology enables the user to shake the device to shuffle the music being played on the device.
Apple calls this new feature: “shake to shuffle”.
