Microsoft BlueTrack Mouse announced
While Apple announced the new updated iPod nano, Microsoft announced their new mouse model.
The software giant showcased a new line of optical mice called BlueTrack.
The company said that this new generation of Mouse uses a new technology developed by them and the device can be used over a variety of surfaces including carpets and shiny stones.
Microsoft added: “The large, blue beam and specular optics architecture, in conjunction with a Microsoft-designed image sensor and proprietary pixel geometry, generates a high-contrast picture of the mousing surface that allows exceptional tracking accuracy. The BlueTrack Technology light beam emanating from the bottom of the mouse is more than four times as large as the average laser beam used in today’s mice, enabling reliable mouse tracking even on difficult surfaces such as carpet.”
The company added with they are planning to reinvent their entire hardware lineup starting with this new mouse.
