Nokia brings Microsoft Exchange Activesync support to Symbian S60
Mobile phone maker Nokia has announced that they are now bringing support for Microsoft Exchange Activesync on all Nokia phones that use the S60 Symbian operating system.
This means that owners of as many as 43 different models of Nokia phones would now be able to access this feature generally used in corporate sector.
Till now, support for this technology was only available on some specific models for which Nokia provided software separately.
Nokia said that they would make this technology available to around 80 million existing customers of these mobile devices.
It would also be now shipped by default on their new Nokia N-Series and E-Series phones.
Market analysts believe that this feature would enhance the value of Nokia phones in the US market where they are a relatively minor player.
