Virgin Mobile Shuttle 3G mobile phone launched in USA
Virgin Mobile has collaborated with Personal Communications Devices to launch their first 3G enabled mobile device in the US market.
This new product is the Virgin Mobile Shuttle.
Virgin Mobile Shuttle comes loaded with technologies like EV-DO, GPS and other high end features.
The company added that the device would feature support for their location-based services powered by uLocate. This includes the Buddy Beacon feature which was quite popular on Helio mobile devices. Helio was recently acquired by Virgin Mobile.
Other features on the phone include a 1.3-megapixel camera which can capture video as well.
Virgin Mobile Shuttle features a 2-inch screen and comes with an integrated media player that can play both streaming and sideloaded music.
The company said that this device is now on sale for only $79.99 without any contract.
