We failed to find any information on their Indian website. But their international site mentions this:

Motorola India has an ECOMOTO Takeback program designed to take back products which have reached their end of life.

This program is designed to be very simple and convenient for the consumers. When a Motorola product reaches end of life, drop into an ECOMOTO Takeback bin. Authorized contractors will collect and transport these items to approved recycling facilities.

I THINK THE BEST WAY TO PROMOTE THE IDEA OF RECYCLING OF OLD MOB.PHONES IS TO SEND AT LEAST ONE SMS IN A MONTH TO ALL OWNERS GIVING DETAILS AS TO HOW AND WHERE TO DO AND BENEFITS.
EDUCATED PERSONS SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED TO CREATE FACILITIES FOR RECYCLING AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS
