CTL to launch ultra cheap desktops powered by Intel Atom
CTL is popularly known as the reseller of Intel’s Classmate PC.
The company has now announced their plans to offer cheap desktop computers powered by Intel Atom processors.
These desktop based nettops would use the same design philosophy as Intel Classmate PCs.
The company aims to sell these products at prices starting at USD 149. This would be a base system that would ship without any hard disk. This would allow the user to pick his own choice of storage.
They have other products planned as well for customers who want a slightly more powerful machine.
These desktops would be offered with Ubuntu Linux and Windows OS options.
