Internet Movie Database to provide free movies and TV shows

Amazon.com has announced that they are now going to provide free broadcasting of movies and television shows on their subsidiary IMDB.

They are going to make available around 6000 titles on Internet Movie Database.

IMDB stated that they would provide shows including “24″ and “Heroes”. They are also planning to broadcast the first episodes of the latest seasons of “Lipstick Jungle” and “30 Rock” online.

Amazon already has a presence in the digital media distribution market through their On-Demand viewing services.
