Microsoft Zune users get free Wi-Fi access at McDonald’s

Microsoft has announced a deal with Wayport that would enable the users of their Zune player to get Wi-Fi access at McDonald’s outlets.

Microsoft Zune does not have a web browser so the users would not be able to browse the web.

However, they would be able to use the Wi-Fi connectivity to buy and download music from the Zune Marketplace.

Microsoft has also just released the Zune 3.0 software which would bring more functionality to the device including buy from FM.

Users would be able to buy the songs they hear on the FM player of the device directly from the Zune marketplace.
