CrunchGear: HTC Dream to cost USD 200 with a contract on T-Mobile
Technology blog CrunchGear is claiming that they have received inside information that T-Mobile would price their upcoming Google Android powered G1 mobile handset at USD 200 with a contract.
This mobile phone is expected to be the much talked about HTC Dream mobile phone.
This would be the first mobile device to go on sale which would be powered with the Google Android mobile platform.
Market experts had expected the phone to cost between USD 150-200 with a contact.
T-Mobile had declined to comment on these reports in the media. The company is expected to reveal more details next week.

This is one of the several spy pictures available online…
This would however disappoint a lot of Google Android fans as they were probably expecting a price below what Apple is charging for the iPhone. Apple iPhone 3G sells for prices starting at USD 199 along with a 2 year contract on AT&T.
The phone could go on sale as early as next month.
