Yahoo testing their new homepage

Internet media giant Yahoo has started testing a new layout of their Yahoo.com portal.

Yahoo.com continues to remain one of the most visited websites on the internet.

The new user interface features more customization along with better connectivity to their other services.

The new Yahoo.com comes loaded with a dashboard on the left which enables the user to keep a check on activities on his various accounts on the service.

They can also customize it to see activities on third party sites like AOL, and Gmail in addition to eBay.

This new homepage of yahoo.com is currently being offered to limited users in markets like United States, United Kingdom, India, and France.

Yahoo spoke about the new developments: “These two starting points are definitely converging. To help people make sense of what’s happening in their world, we’re redefining the concept of a ’start page’ away from either a broadcast view or a personal view only, and creating a homepage that blends the best of both approaches to deliver relevance for a mass market.”
