T-Mobile USA works on expanding their 3G network
T-Mobile USA is all set to unveil more details on their upcoming Google Android powered mobile device.
The company has said that they are working on expanding their 3G network in the US market.
The first of the Android powered mobile device is expected to support 3G technology and this makes it essential for T-Mobile to boost the availability of the network.
The company had launched its 3G service in New York in May. Since then, they have expanded the availability to other regions including Austin, Texas, Baltimore, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Portland, Ore., San Antonio, and San Diego.
The company now aims to expand the availability to 27 markets by the end of the year. This expansion would allow them to provide 3G access to more than two-thirds of T-Mobile’s current customer base.
