TechCrunch: eBay considering selling off StumbleUpon
Popular technology blog TechCrunch has stated that as per their sources eBay is considering plans to sell off their StumbleUpon unit.
Incidentally, eBay had acquired this company just around a year ago for $75 million.
The report said that eBay has hired the services of Deutsche Bank to find a buyer for StumbleUpon.
It is unlikely that eBay is going to get what they paid for this company if they manage to sell it now.
StumbleUpon is very popular and has a great user base but the service is not really going to generate much profit for any company unlike they can think of something extraordinary.
