Comcast: All is well with the new traffic management policies

Comcast has stated that their new network traffic management policies have been working fine.

The company claims that they have not received a single customer complaint in trial runs in five areas.

Comcast implemented the new policies after they were criticized by the Federal Communications Commission for interfering with internet usage of their customers.

Comcast said in a filing with the Federal Communications Commission: “Customers will still be able to do anything they want to online, and many activities will be unaffected, but they could experience things like: longer times to download or upload files, surfing the Web may seem somewhat slower, or playing games online may seem somewhat sluggish.”

They are currently testing out these new policies in these regions: Colorado Springs, Colo.; Warrenton, Va.; Chambersburg, Pa.; Lake City, Fla.; and East Orange, Fla.
