Intel vPro third generation launched
Microprocessor industry giant Intel has announced the launch of their third generation vPro platform.
The company has added several new features including remote management and patching applications.
These features work even when the machine is turned off or in hibernation mode.
The company said that all of these new features are built on the hardware itself. Gregory Bryant, Intel’s vice president and general manager of its Digital Office Platform Division added: “We realize by embedding solutions directly in silicon it unlocks new capabilities and helps IT and businesses solve challenges.”
Intel said that the new platform would now enable the administrators to carry out scheduled tune-ups of PCs. The machines can automatically call for help using the new inbuilt Remote Alert feature.
There is a lot of new stuff for corporate customers.
