Chrysler aims to launch electric cars by 2010
US based automaker Chrysler has said that they are working on plans to launch electric cars in the US market in the next two years.
The company displayed some prototypes which are under development for this project.
The prototypes include: an electric Dodge sports car, a Jeep and a Chrysler minivan.
Chrysler is yet to decide which of these models they would launch in 2010 when they believe the market would be ready for such vehicles.
Chrysler is not the only US automaker working on electric cars. GM is working on Chevrolet Volt which is also expected to arrive around the same time.
