T-Mobile to Google G1 users: Unlimited comes with a condition

Engadget has highlighted one of the many conditions that the user has to agree to when he gets himself the just launched Google G1 mobile phone.

The phone would come with unrestricted access to 3G network till 1GB data transfer usage per month.

After that the speeds could be reduced to as little as 50kbps or even less.

This is a pretty drastic step taken by T-Mobile considering the applications featured on the G1 device are data intensive (Google Maps and YouTube).

It would be very easy for the user to touch this limit on regular usage and surfing the internet at 50kbps is not going to be a very pleasing experience.
