Synaptics to provide components for Google G1
US based technology company Synaptics has revealed that they have won the contract to provide components for the just showcased Google G1 mobile phone.
Google G1 is the first mobile phone to be powered by Google Android mobile platform. T-Mobile USA would start selling the phone starting next month.
It is being manufactured by HTC for Google and it comes loaded with features optimized for the internet.
Synaptics said that they would provide components like touchscreen sensors and chips for the Google G1.
