Courts dismiss iPhone battery related lawsuit against Apple
Apple receives some relief from the courts as they would not be required to face the lawsuit related to iPhone battery replacement problem.
The company was sued as a customer claimed that they failed to inform them in time that the battery of the iPhone cannot be changed manually. Apple charges a fee to replace the battery when it dies.
U.S. District Judge Matthew F. Kennelly said in his ruling: “Apple disclosed on the outside of the iPhone package that the battery has limited recharge cycles and may eventually need to be replaced by Apple service provider”.
The lawsuit was filed by an individual named Jose Trujillo.
