Apple iPhone 3G unlocked available in Hong Kong
Apple has finally launched an unlocked version of Apple iPhone 3G but only in Hong Kong.
The unlocked edition of the iPhone would allow the user to connect the device with any GSM service provider of his choice.
The prices:
Apple iPhone 3G 8GB: 5400 Hong Kong Dollars (around USD 694)
Apple iPhone 3G 16GB: 6200 Hong Kong Dollars (around USD 797)
This is unlike the iPhones which are sold in other countries. Apple provides locked edition of iPhones in other markets in partnership with a local mobile service provider.
