Radiohead, Robbie Williams and Kaiser Chiefs form Featured Artists’ Coalition
UK’s leading musicians are collaborating together to form a group named Featured Artists’ Coalition.
The group has the support of popular musicians including Radiohead, Robbie Williams and Kaiser Chiefs.
They are collaborating together to demand more control over their music in this digital age where more and more content is offered online in digital form.
The group said that they want the musicians to have more control over their content rather than labels.
The problem is that they feel that they are losing control over their own created content as labels starts offering it online and in other digital formats.
Brian Message, co-manager of Radiohead spoke about the reason behind the formation of this group: “It is time for artists to have a strong collective voice to stand up for their interests.”
