Nokia Comes with Music coming to USA next year
Nokia is already the world’s largest mobile phone maker. The company is now aiming to compete with Apple iTunes in the digital media stores market.
The company has unveiled their Comes with Music service which comes bundled with their newer mobile phones.
The service enables the owner of these new devices to get unlimited access to music for a period of one year.
User retains the music after the one year period ends and he can extend the service for an additional fee.
Nokia has now said that they would be bringing this service to the US market sometime next year.
Tero Ojanpera, head of entertainment business at Nokia said in a statement: “In the United States we will launch next year”.
It is crucial for Nokia to bring the service to US market as they are a relatively smaller player here and Apple iTunes dominates the market.
Apple is also now becoming a formidable challenger in the mobile phone market with their iPhone which has been a smashing success in both the US and international markets.
