Ask.com working on enhancing search engine

Ask.com has said that they are working hard on enhancing their search services to make it faster and more relevant.

The company aims to take away some market share from the leaders in this segment Google.

Company Chief Executive Officer Jim Safka said in a statement that they expect to provide search services which are 30 percent faster than before.

Ask.com also wants to benefit from the delay which has affected their other rivals Microsoft and Yahoo.

The two companies had been talking about a potential merger deal which could not materialize in the end.

Analysts say that the delays caused by the talks are benefiting the rival companies Google and Ask.com.
