Apple iPhone 3G is the best selling Smartphone in USA

Apple iPhone 3G has now been named as the best selling Smartphone in the US market.

It is also the second best selling mobile device in the US market after the Motorola RAZR V3.

Market reports also claims that Apple iPhone now has a 17 percent share of the overall US Smartphone market.

Apple iPhone has managed to outsell rivals including Blackberry Curve, Blackberry Pearl, and Palm Centro to take the number 1 spot during the June through August period.

The report from NPD further claims that as many as 30% of the iPhone buyers during this period left other carriers to join AT&T to get their hands on the iPhone.
