Amazon S3 now cheaper for heavy users
Amazon has announced a change in the pricing for their Amazon S3 service.
The price update would only affect users who use a lot of resources on the service.
The service still charges a monthly fee of 15 cents per gigabyte of storage.
But the rates drop as the user consumes more storage space.
For example, after 50TB of storage, the price goes down to 14 cents a gigabyte. After 500TB, the price is down to just 12 cents per GB!
The price cut would not affect any of the regular user of the services but it is great news for web services which use S3 platform for storage.
