YouTube to run full CBS television shows!

Google has announced a deal with CBS which would enable them to run full length television shows on the YouTube video sharing service.

This would further enhance the quality of the YouTube service as it is currently more popular for home made videos and snippets of original programming.

The service also faces several lawsuits related to pirated media hosted on the service uploaded by web users around the world.

Google said that they are also in talks with other television networks to further boost their original media content.

Some of the shows from CBS to be hosted on YouTube will include episodes from “Star Trek,” “Young and the Restless” and “Beverly Hills 90210”.

These episodes would be broadcast in a new theater mode to enhance user experience.

YouTube representative Shiva Rajaraman spoke about this deal: “It’s all about advertisers maximizing their reach and using the most effective ad format for where the user might be situated.”

YouTube is the most popular video sharing service on the web and is also one of the most visited web sites online.
