New Apple MacBook comes with NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M
Rumors about the Nvidia chipset were true. Apple is loading their new generation of notebooks with the NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M.
NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M features both chipset and the GPU. It has 16 parallel graphics cores and offers 54gflops of performance.
Apple claims that this combo provides five times faster performance compared to the earlier generation of notebooks.
They are the first PC manufacturer in the market to offer this hardware solution. The relationship between Nvidia and Apple is not exclusive however.
Apple is however also loading most of their newer models with a dedicated graphic processor. Users would have the choice to use one of them. The difference is battery backup and of course power!
