Apple indeed using new manufacturing process for new notebooks
The Apple Brick rumors were true. Apple is indeed using a new manufacturing process for their latest range of MacBooks.
The company said that they tested this process with MacBook Air and it has turned out to be very effective.
The new MacBooks are being made from a solid piece of aluminum. They start with this piece and cut it to form the structure of the laptop.
All the cut out parts are collected and re-used. Apple said that the result product is stronger and lighter.
