Apple does not like Blu-Ray calls it a bag of hurt

The new Apple MacBook range is out and none of the models feature any support for the Blu-Ray drive.

Apple did not mention it until the QA round.

A reported asked Steve Jobs on why they are not supporting Blu-Ray considering it has won the format war against HD DVD.

Jobs responded saying that the Blu-Ray is a bag of hurt. It works great for watching movies but it is yet to become popular enough for them to consider it including in their product range.

The company said that the Apple iTunes already offers the best in HD movies and they are happy with what they have got.
