Latest Apple MacBook lacks FireWire support

Apple announced the latest edition of MacBook as part of their One More Thing announcement.

The new updated MacBook now is pretty similar to the big brother MacBook Pro.

It is made up of the same aluminum casing. It also comes loaded with the higher quality LED-backlit in addition to the glossy screen.

Apple has also powered it with the same NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics chipset.

However, there are some things which would bother the potential customers of this notebook.

It now comes with the new Mini DisplayPort instead of the Mini-DVI which was present in the older generation model.

Apple has also now removed the FireWire 400 port from the MacBook. It is also missing from the MacBook Pro but it does have a FireWire 800 port.
