Steve Ballmer: Yahoo deal still possible
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has said that he still believes that a deal with Yahoo is possible.
This come just months after Microsoft took back their acquisition offer for the company.
They offered a pretty good deal for Yahoo. Yahoo refused as they wanted more money.
Since then, Yahoo stock has took a beating in the stock market. They had to enter a deal with Google to pacify their stockholders.
Even that deal is not going well as it faces opposition from advertisers who worry that the collaboration gives too much control to Google in the web advertising market.
Ballmer said that Microsoft and Yahoo could talk about a possible deal over search. He did clarify that no talks are going on at this moment.
