Apple App Store has seen 200 million downloads
Apple has announced that Apple iPhone and iPod Touch users have now downloaded more than 200 million items from the Apple App Store.
Apple App Store is a marketplace which hosts third party applications for the iPod Touch and the iPhone.
It was launched along with the second generation iPhone earlier this year.
Apple had touched the 100 million milestone last month and it seems to be growing at a faster rate now.
Apple has not revealed on how much revenue is generated from the Apple App Store. Sources say that the company was selling USD 1 million worth apps per day during the month of August.
