Chandrayaan-I working successfully
India’s first lunar orbiter Chandrayaan-I has been launched successfully and ISRO has now confirmed that it is functioning properly.
Indian Space Research Organization said in a release: “The health of the spacecraft is normal.”
On Wednesday it was placed in an elliptical orbit with a perigee of 255 KM.
ISRO is now working on placing the orbiter into the lunar orbit on November 8.
